Description
A nest full of nearly ready to leave the nest Great Blue Herons shows the sibling rivalry that takes place when you put so many bones covered in feathers with large wing spans in a fairly confined space. Don't back up too much!

What a wonderful image. Wish I had taken it.
Joni Eskridge replied:
Thanks Carl! How nice of you to say. It took some patience to get this - had to hang out with all my mosquito friends for a couple hours - but was thrilled in the end as I climbed back over all the fallen tree limbs and through all the brush ( : Appreciate the visit!

Thanks so much Morris. Had to wait a couple hours for this shot, and climb through some thorny brush, but it was a great time. Glad you enjoyed it too!
