Description
It was actually a sunny day when I took this image of a pink and white magnolia. I saw the lovely light that fell between the tree branches and leaves and thought it so beautiful, but the sunny day brought with it many distractions from that beauty as well. I composed and exposed for the beauty of the flower and the flower alone. That dropped the light in the distracting background, and further editing made sure the magnolia is the true star of this image.
The soft light and beauty of these two magnolias make it perfect for hanging in any room, and would add a sensual softness to any bedroom decor.
