Description
Bright fall colors mix amongst the greens as we got ready to enter one of the many tunnels on the Bue Ridge Parkway. Peak colors were beginning to appear at the higher elevations of the Parkway, providing stunning views. Reds, yellows and oranges surrounded this tunnel opening on both sides, as well as on top of the tunnel.
The Blue Ridge Parkway is the most visited National Park, with a roadway of 469 miles stretching from Rockfish Gap in Virginia, to Cherokee, North Carolina, with spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and a vast number of hiking trails and quaint towns all along the drive.
