Driving around in the Galena area we came across this unexpected site: the rusted out husk of an old car covered in multiple colors - either from rust or from paint - sitting by itself in a mown field between two trees.

Wow this is such a wonderful photo of that old car Joni!!! There was one just like it in my grandparents yard for years and years!!! For all I know it is still there in the woods!!! LF

Me too, Phyllis. The placement on a well-cared-for lawn would seem to indicate a deliberateness about it - which is amusing, because there's no house close by. But it sure made my day!

Thanks Debra. I took a few different shots at different angles and distances (close up you can see random flowers growing inside like a giant wild planter), but this one was my favorite. Glad you like it!
