Description
Having moved from Illinois to North Carolina last summer, we decided we didn't want to mow grass. When we had landscaping done, I asked for a wildflower meadow in the back yard, instead of grass. While it is not yet a dense wildflower meadow, it is producing some tiny blooms with big beauty. The Bird's-eye Gilia are the most plentious of the wildflowers currently blooming in my meadow. Just barely 1/2" in diameter, they pack a lot of beauty in their tiny package.
