Beauty is everywhere. Sometimes it hits you in the face; you can't miss it. Other times, you have to go looking for it. But always, no matter where you are, you can find something of beauty. I love the grand landscape, the engaging smile, the cute baby. But even more, I love to find the beauty in the ordinary; the mundane; the thing you just walked past without a glance. If I can make you reconsider; to think about the magnificence of the ordinary - that makes me happy.

I strolled through your galleries.....so many wonderful images! This one popped out for me and told a story! I love this moment of tranquil joy where sand and sea meet and two souls share it all. So beautiful because it's peaceful! l/f/tweet

Thanks so much Toni for your stroll and your kind comments. I loved being up high to get this perspective. It is so much more interesting than if I had taken this same shot from down on the beach and the long expanse leading off into the distance makes you wonder where they're off to ( :

Oh gosh, should have replied to this ages ago! Thanks John for your comment and visit. Nothing like walking along the beach in February to have it all to yourself! I was really glad to see people out there when I took this shot. Glad you liked it.
