A loud mouthed juvenile Ring-billed Gull makes his presence known while sitting atop a railing on a walkway on the Sound side of Topsail Island, North Carolina, while a couple of his fellow juveniles sit by.

Beauty is everywhere. Sometimes it hits you in the face; you can't miss it. Other times, you have to go looking for it. But always, no matter where you are, you can find something of beauty. I love the grand landscape, the engaging smile, the cute baby. But even more, I love to find the beauty in the ordinary; the mundane; the thing you just walked past without a glance. If I can make you reconsider; to think about the magnificence of the ordinary - that makes me happy.
