While taking pictures of Bradford Pear trees at a local community college parking lot, I spotted a lovely little sitting area surrounded by these Japanese Camelia. Nearly all the blooms were brown, and had dropped many of their petals; but there were still a few beautiful blooms to capture before they too, disappeared.

Beauty is everywhere. Sometimes it hits you in the face; you can't miss it. Other times, you have to go looking for it. But always, no matter where you are, you can find something of beauty. I love the grand landscape, the engaging smile, the cute baby. But even more, I love to find the beauty in the ordinary; the mundane; the thing you just walked past without a glance. If I can make you reconsider; to think about the magnificence of the ordinary - that makes me happy.
