Thanks Ann. It was a wonderful experience. What I thought was a bad day for our time in Denali turned out to be ideal. There were scenes like this, then as the day progressed, things opened up and we saw beautiful blue sky.

Joni, I love the deep blue poking itself through the clouds ... the clouds themselves pillowy soft , a lovely natural complement to the rugged rolling earth below them ; interesting & well captured, & a joy to view at length, so restful :))

Artist's Description

We started out our bus trip through Denali National Park in Alaska in heavy fog and light rain. It being the only day we would have in Denali, I was apprehensive about whether the day would turn out to be a disappointment. I needn't have worried. The fog made for some great shots at lower elevations, and as we moved further into the park and higher in elevation, the fog began to burn off - but the low hanging clouds made for some wonderful images I may have missed had the weather been fairer that morning.
