On the hiking trail I walk nearly every morning is a small waterfall. At the bottom of the waterfall are several rhododendron bushes. On one of my hikes, I brought my camera along, to catch the rhododendrons at their peak blooming. What a beautiful sight!

Beauty is everywhere. Sometimes it hits you in the face; you can't miss it. Other times, you have to go looking for it. But always, no matter where you are, you can find something of beauty. I love the grand landscape, the engaging smile, the cute baby. But even more, I love to find the beauty in the ordinary; the mundane; the thing you just walked past without a glance. If I can make you reconsider; to think about the magnificence of the ordinary - that makes me happy.
