Beauty is everywhere. Sometimes it hits you in the face; you can't miss it. Other times, you have to go looking for it. But always, no matter where you are, you can find something of beauty. I love the grand landscape, the engaging smile, the cute baby. But even more, I love to find the beauty in the ordinary; the mundane; the thing you just walked past without a glance. If I can make you reconsider; to think about the magnificence of the ordinary - that makes me happy.

Beautiful....L.F.Pin...
Joni Eskridge replied:
Thanks Kay. It was a really beautiful and tranquil spot - though I would have liked a bit more warmth and a little less wind when we were there. But we enjoyed our time and I enjoy envisioning sitting on this bench and listening to all the sounds of nature and taking it all in. Thanks for the visit and support. Really appreciated.

As we are in triple digits in my neck of the woods, this captured my attention immediately. I can feel the cool breeze. Nicely done. L/F
Joni Eskridge replied:
Ouch! We've been in the 90's in Illinois a few days, but thankfully no triple digits yet. The temps when this picture was taken were in the windy 40's - would definitely cool you off! Thanks for the visit and taking time to comment Marcia, appreciate it.

Joni this is heavenly, I sure would love to be sitting there now, just relaxing, enjoying that beautiful view and thinking about nothing but how lovely it is. L/F
Joni Eskridge replied:
Thanks Debra. This was truly a beautiful spot where both the sunset and sunrise compelled one to stop and take them in. It was a windy and brisk day, so the waves were rolling in with some power. The wide expanse of water and the long shorelines let you get lost in how big the world around you is. It's a good place to be. Glad this photo could transport you for a moment!
