Description
Cantigny Park opened to the public in 1958. The Park was willed as a land trust by Robert R. McCormick of Chicago Tribune fame. The Park houses beautiful gardens; a golf course and hiking trails; the First Division Museum dedicated to the history of the Big Red One, the famed 1st Infantry Division of the U.S. Army; a visitor's center and an education center. This particular photo is part of the formal garden, with shapely evergreens and a quiet garden path.

A lovely, peaceful scene! This is so pretty ... makes me want to walk down the path to see what lies ahead! L/F

Thanks Sharon. It is really lovely - a tucked away corner it took me quite some time to discover. It is very peaceful and quiet.
