Artist's Description
After spending an hour or so at Lido Beach in Sarasota, Florida on a hot summer's day walking the shoreline and photographing the shore birds, the clouds started to roll in. I made my way back towards where my car was parked as the sky turned darker and darker, and the wind picked up. This mesmirizing cloud formation was the last glance at Lido before escaping to my waiting car.
About Joni Eskridge
Beauty is everywhere. Sometimes it hits you in the face; you can't miss it. Other times, you have to go looking for it. But always, no matter where you are, you can find something of beauty. I love the grand landscape, the engaging smile, the cute baby. But even more, I love to find the beauty in the ordinary; the mundane; the thing you just walked past without a glance. If I can make you reconsider; to think about the magnificence of the ordinary - that makes me happy.

Joni Eskridge replied:
Yeah, this one made me wonder if I'd stayed a bit too long - but just got wet. I really enjoyed the clouds in the Sarasota area. All that moisture in the air makes for some great formations. Thanks for the visit Marvin!
