Beauty is everywhere. Sometimes it hits you in the face; you can't miss it. Other times, you have to go looking for it. But always, no matter where you are, you can find something of beauty. I love the grand landscape, the engaging smile, the cute baby. But even more, I love to find the beauty in the ordinary; the mundane; the thing you just walked past without a glance. If I can make you reconsider; to think about the magnificence of the ordinary - that makes me happy.

Thanks Marvin. What I think I found most interesting on this winter trip to the NC coastline was the sand. You can see some black lines in this photo. The variation in color and interaction with the wind made some very visually interesting scenes. It's not as apparent in this shot as some of the others in this series. I like the contrasting colors and the bridge in this one. Thanks for visiting.
