Description
Thick clouds hover over an expansive wide angle view of the mountain range along the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina, in late October. Blue sk;, fall color; a bare, dead tree; and shadows on the mountain tops bring drama and depth to the scene.
The Blue Ridge Parkway is the most visited National Park, with a roadway of 469 miles stretching from Rockfish Gap in Virginia, to Cherokee, North Carolina, with spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and a vast number of hiking trails and quaint towns all along the drive.

Joni, This Is A Magnificent Landscape Scene In Autumn! Also Love The Old Tree On The Left! L/F
Joni Eskridge replied:
Thanks so much for your kind words, Rick. Yes, that tree! It was one of the things that drew me in to that particular perspective.
