Description
The Devil's Courthouse looms ominously on the Blue Ridge Parkway, its black and gray rock jutting out under a sky of dark clouds. The mountainside is covered in dark evergreens, bare shrubbery and fall color, while beyond, layers of far mountains stretch into the distance.
The Blue Ridge Parkway is the most visited National Park, with a roadway of 469 miles stretching from Rockfish Gap in Virginia, to Cherokee, North Carolina, with spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and a vast number of hiking trails and quaint towns all along the drive.
