The inner seeds of this white magnolia taken in the early spring at Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois, are secretly cradled by the folds of its beautiful petals, revealed only through a small break in the veil of white.

Beauty is everywhere. Sometimes it hits you in the face; you can't miss it. Other times, you have to go looking for it. But always, no matter where you are, you can find something of beauty. I love the grand landscape, the engaging smile, the cute baby. But even more, I love to find the beauty in the ordinary; the mundane; the thing you just walked past without a glance. If I can make you reconsider; to think about the magnificence of the ordinary - that makes me happy.
