These flowers caught my eye when we arrived at a bed and breakfast for the evening. The sun was fast going down, but I had a few minutes to catch a few shots of these beautiful yellow blossoms using a wide open macro lens, creating a soft floral abstract.

Beauty is everywhere. Sometimes it hits you in the face; you can't miss it. Other times, you have to go looking for it. But always, no matter where you are, you can find something of beauty. I love the grand landscape, the engaging smile, the cute baby. But even more, I love to find the beauty in the ordinary; the mundane; the thing you just walked past without a glance. If I can make you reconsider; to think about the magnificence of the ordinary - that makes me happy.
