Artist's Description
On a fall afternoon, the Mississippi River flows peacefully through the Mississippi Palisades State Park. The glassy water makes a perfect surface to reflect the blue, white and gray of the mostly cloudy sky, looking as if it is both above and below a line of green trees on this late afternoon.
About Joni Eskridge
Beauty is everywhere. Sometimes it hits you in the face; you can't miss it. Other times, you have to go looking for it. But always, no matter where you are, you can find something of beauty. I love the grand landscape, the engaging smile, the cute baby. But even more, I love to find the beauty in the ordinary; the mundane; the thing you just walked past without a glance. If I can make you reconsider; to think about the magnificence of the ordinary - that makes me happy.
