Thanks Lois Yes, definitely up! I spent a few hours on a couple of different occasions at this Heron rookery this past spring. It was a lovely swampy area [at least to me] with about 50 or so nests way up in the dead trees. Had fun watching the nest building and later in spring watching the feeding frenzy when the parental unit showed up with food (and the bickering that can go on while waiting - and waiting. There are a couple other shots posted you might enjoy. I probably have a few others I'll add at some point. Thanks for the visit.
