Traveling on the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina at the Linn Cove Viaduct was able to snap this shot as we drove across the viaduct. The angle of the shot makes it look as if the road is suspended in space. The Blue Ridge Mountains layered with haze below a cloudy sky provide the backdrop.

Ha! Thanks Cindy. I was too excited trying to get a shot before we were too far along and the opportunity passed. It does look a bit daunting, but it gave me goosebumps to get the shot.
