Description
The several times we have been to Galena have taken us down this country road and past this farm. I have taken many pictures of this farm, but always in late afternoon or early evening light from a moving car. On this afternoon, I drove down the now-familiar road and found a place to stop. In early December, the corn was all broken stalks in the field, the grass brown, and the trees without their leaves. The sky was overcast and cloudy. But I love this big red barn nestled at the base of a big wooded hill; and a sepia treatment with a woven texture makes this winter image that much more enjoyable to me. Hoping you agree!
