Description
Much of the grounds around Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory where high-energy physics is studied, is open to the public, and a nature-lover's happy place. Bird watchers wander through woods and prairies, large and small ponds can be found housing various water fowl and in one section you'll find a fenced in area with a small herd of buffalo. This is part of the fence where the buffalo are kept. I liked the clean lines here, the textures of the fence wire, grass and poles as well as the overcast gloomy sky on this windy November day.
