Description
Layers of mountains stretch for miles just below a mixed cloud cover in this wide view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Sun filters through the clouds, even as shadows appear across the afternoon vista.
The Blue Ridge Parkway is the most visited National Park, with a roadway of 469 miles stretching from Rockfish Gap in Virginia, to Cherokee, North Carolina, with spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and a vast number of hiking trails and quaint towns all along the drive.
