Description
Standing on the bottom stair landing after climbing the spiral staircase all the way up, and then back down the Currituck Lighthouse in Corolla North Carolina, the late morning light, combined with the white brick and tiled hallway struck me as a scene from an old movie. I patiently waited until the hallway was clear, before capturing this shot of nostalgia.

Thank you Michel. The light, the narrow hallway, the black and white tile - all of it evoked some deep buried emotions of something - perhaps a real event or perhaps a good book that kept me company on some rainy afternoon. I just knew when I saw it, I wanted to capture it. I am glad you liked it.
