Description
What's left of a hurricane-damaged pier sways in the waves at sunset on this Nags Head beach in February. Looking west, the sky was ablaze with reds and oranges. But if you literally just did an about face, you were greeted with this incredible cotton candy sky.

I'm dazzled, Joni. Your image is so well composed and caught at just the right time. Perfect! L/F -- Joe.

Thanks so much Joe for the visit and your very kind words. It was a magical evening on the beach. So glad you enjoyed it!

Wonderful lighting and colors. L/F
Joni Eskridge replied:
Thanks Sunil. This is one of the most beautiful sunsets I've witnessed. Actually, I got two sunsets in the same place - this beautiful blue and pink one and turning around seeing the orange/red/yellow in the opposite direction. Such a treat. Glad you enjoyed it!
