Artist's Description
Taken in my back yard, will you look at the pollen sacs on this bumble bee!
Wikipedia says: The pollen basket or corbicula (plural corbiculae) is part of the tibia on the hind legs of certain species of bees. They use the structure in harvesting pollen and returning it to the nest or hive.
This bee's hive mates must have been quite pleased upon his return!
