Snow clings to the fences, marsh grasses, tree branches and left over leaves on this cold February morning.

I liked the overcast morning with it's bluish cast; the hints of color in the marsh grasses; the contrast of the black of the tree trunk with the white of the snow.

Branches reach out like graceful tendrils adorned in white; the leaves covered with snow hang like glistening ornaments.

The dead of winter still brings with it the beauty of God's creation.

Beauty is everywhere. Sometimes it hits you in the face; you can't miss it. Other times, you have to go looking for it. But always, no matter where you are, you can find something of beauty. I love the grand landscape, the engaging smile, the cute baby. But even more, I love to find the beauty in the ordinary; the mundane; the thing you just walked past without a glance. If I can make you reconsider; to think about the magnificence of the ordinary - that makes me happy.
