Description
A golden fall valley rests between and in front of mountains on the Blue Ridge Parkway. While a few trees have given up the ghost of fall, and stand bare of most of their fall adornment, they still provide beauty to this scene, along with the reds, oranges, yellows and rusts that dot the hillsides. In the background, layers of mountains go on and on, dappled in shadows from the dark clouds atop a hazy sky.
The Blue Ridge Parkway is the most visited National Park, with a roadway of 469 miles stretching from Rockfish Gap in Virginia, to Cherokee, North Carolina, with spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and a vast number of hiking trails and quaint towns all along the drive.

wow this is such a wonderfully lovely view. Such an amazing place.

Thanks Wayne. I loved how the natural V shape of the mountain slopes framed the mountains behind. Appreciate the visit and comments!
