In early spring water coming down from the top of the mountain will make for an impressive flow, covering these large river rocks. But on this hot summer day, only a small flow makes its way down the mountain, revealing the shapes and colors of the rocks forged by water, weather and movement, over time.

Beauty is everywhere. Sometimes it hits you in the face; you can't miss it. Other times, you have to go looking for it. But always, no matter where you are, you can find something of beauty. I love the grand landscape, the engaging smile, the cute baby. But even more, I love to find the beauty in the ordinary; the mundane; the thing you just walked past without a glance. If I can make you reconsider; to think about the magnificence of the ordinary - that makes me happy.
