Nearly to Mt. Mitchell State Park on the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina, the view is beautiful. The mountain range stretches far into the distance; shadows hover over the mountain tops from the thick clouds that hover directly overhead; the deep blue of the sky shows through, accenting the wonderful spring day that it was.
