Description
Much of the grounds around Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory where high-energy physics is studied, is open to the public, and a nature-lover's happy place. Bird watchers wander through woods and prairies, large and small ponds can be found housing various water fowl and in one section you'll find a fenced in area with a small herd of buffalo. I spent some time in the woods one windy November day. The floor was covered with fallen leaves and the tall bare trees on this foggy late afternoon looked a bit foeboding. The processing here is an attempt to convey that mood.

Thanks so much Diane. I am always drawn to trees and try to find ways to bring across the many different moods they can convey. Glad you enjoyed this one.
