Description
Clouds hang low casting shadows across this Blue Ridge Parkway vista. The near mountain is covered in evergreen, darkened by shadows, while the lighter fall colors are kissed with sunlight peeking through the opening in the cloud cover, on this beautiful fall day.
The Blue Ridge Parkway is the most visited National Park, with a roadway of 469 miles stretching from Rockfish Gap in Virginia, to Cherokee, North Carolina, with spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and a vast number of hiking trails and quaint towns all along the drive.
